Spyware removal is the inevitable result of inadequate or complete lack of security software on a computer system. Every single computer today is connected to the Internet in one way or another leaving it vulnerable to attack if professional real time protection is not in place.

At the end of 2009 the number of unique malware programs had risen from 200.000 to 1.500.000 in only three years - a staggering growth that gives reason to be concerned. And furthermore, it underlines the incredible necessity for for spyware removal and protection.

Lots of malicious software may be the result of under stimulated youngsters "nerding" away in some basement and while the results of their exploits are indeed harmful to computers, the threat from most of these programs usually doesn't have more consequence than making a computer unstable. This of cause is extremely annoying, but far more dangerous threats are floating around in cyber space.

Cyber criminals some times set up servers to automatically attempt to connect to thousands upon thousands of random IP numbers and once a connection is made, they have access to do pretty much what ever they want on the hacked computer. I have never personally been the victim of such an attack, but I certainly have been targeted many times. I have often received a popup message from my security software saying something like "A remote computer attempted to connect..." or "An unsolicited attack was attempted...".

This kind of behavior is very common today and so the demand for professional spyware removal programs are higher than ever. It is the singular kind of software where I personally will never compromise when it comes to quality and reliability. It simply isn't worth it. Personal internet security must be of high priority to everyone and making sure you have a really good anti spyware software package is essential. I know that Microsoft Windows today comes with Windows Defender and I am not saying it is a poor program, but personally I wont rely this alone. I always have dedicated anti spyware product running at all times as well.

From personal experience I have also learned always to go for what I call "all-in-one" security products. A spyware removal or anti virus program is great, but you also need a firewall, anti adware, a popup blocker, e-mail spam filter etc. Having it all in one neat package makes installation and administration so much easier and these complete products are usually also sign that they indeed are professional spyware removal tools.
